What is the advantage of remote support with Tippens?
We first decided to offer a remote support program when we realised our customers needed help on small regular problems with the use of their computers that didn’t warrant paying an engineer £50 to come out and fix. What we later realised was this had two other great benefits:
1) We could in fact repairs 90% of the more technical issues on this program which also saved our customers a call out to repair charge.
2) We would get a fixed steady income, which although made less money because it was a saving for our customers, it gave the business stability.
So how does it work?
Well its very simple. You get a contract to sign which includes a monthly standing order for £10+VAT (£12). Then any time you have a problem you can call us during our opening times and we can initiate a screen share to correct the problem you have.
Is there any security issues with screen sharing and can you access my computer when ever you want?
The answer is NO. There are no security issues and we cannot access your computer whenever we want. To access your computer we need your permission for every individual session.
Are there any other benefits of the program?
Yes. You get 20% off on all our labour for work that is done out side of the program. This is just a little extra for your continued support.
